Greenville Borough Council meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm in council chambers, located in the Municipal Building at 125 Main Street. Work Sessions are held on the Thursday preceding each monthly council meeting. We warmly welcome the public to both meetings.

Tree limbs

Wondering how to get rid of those tree limbs that came down in the last wind storm? Greenville's Public Works department offers tree limb chipper service on the last Monday of the month. Call the Borough office at 724.588.4193 ext. 402 to be placed on the list.

Burning weekend

Per Ordinance 1456 ~ The burning weekends in the borough are: the 2nd Friday of each month and next day and the last Friday of each month and next day. You may burn yard waste between dawn and dusk. NO LEAVES OR REFUSE.

Report street light outage

We request your help to keep all our street lights working properly. If you see any street light out or flashing, just look for the identification number, located at eye level on the pole, and note the street AND nearest cross street the light is located on. Then call the borough office, 724.588.4193 x402 and we will notify Penn Power. Most lights are repaired in 3 days.

Greenville Farmer's Market

Fall Leaf Pickup
Event Date: 9/3/2010
Waste Management will be picking up bagged leaves the week of October 18 and again the week of December 6. Leaves must be placed in biodegradable bags and put out with regular garbage that week. Biodegradable bags may be purchased at Hurlbert Hardware or the Waste Management office and are $6.00 (check or money order) for a roll of 10 bags. Questions may be directed to Waste Management at 724.588.9785.
