The Borough of Greenville, with approximately 5,900 inhabitants, is a fine residential community with light commercial, industry, and small businesses, located north of Interstate 80 and west of Interstate 79. The community has established quality schools, a convenient local hospital and a deep rooted college. Located conveniently within a short driving distance from Erie, Pittsburgh, and Cleveland.  The Borough of Greenville offers a small town atmosphere with opportunities to enjoy cultural venues, great entertainment and professional sports events. Waste Management Fall Leaf Pick-Up - Posted: 10/9/2013
Waste Management will be picking up bagged leaves the week of October 20 and again the week of November 10.  RESIDENTS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO RAKE LEAVES INTO THE STREET.  Leaves must be placed in biodegradable bags and put out with regular garbage that week.  Biodegradable bags may be purchased at Hurlbert Hardware or the Waste Management office and are $6.00 (check or money order) for a roll of 10 bags.  Questions may be directed to Waste Management at 724-588-9785.

Halloween Happenings - Posted: 10/23/2012
The Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce will hold the annual Scarecrows in the Park contest on Wednesday, October 29 through Saturday, November 1. Winners of the Scarecrows in the Park contest will be announced at the conclusion of the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce Halloween Parade scheduled for Saturday, November 1st at 7:00pm. Trick or Treat hours are from 4-6 p.m. on November 1st.  Please see the flyer by clicking here for link for additional details and information on how to register for Scarecrows in the Park.

Farmer's Market - Posted: 3/28/2014
Greenville's Farmer's Market will be open next to Central Park starting May 3rd, with hours each Wednesday from 11am - 6pm and Saturday 7am - 2pm or until sold out through November 5th, weather permitting.
